The importance of being Earnest...about maintaining your website

One thing I just can't stand are when I get contacted by technology companies that promise that they will fix all of my problems but when I go to their website there are broken links or other functionality issues. This is especially worrying when looking at the website of a company whose core business is web technologies. It's essentially the "physician heal thyself" problem - if you can't keep up your own site and make sure it is up-to-date and functional then it's highly unlikely that you are going to drum up much business.
